KLINGSPOR Abrasives is currently seeking a Customer Relations Team Leader.

Job summary

Responsible for managing the customer relations team, reviewing the department’s quality of work and helping to ensure that customers’ and Sales Reps’ requests are entered, approved and released in a timely fashion.

Summary of essential job functions

1)    Personnel Management

a.    The Customer Relations Team Leader, in coordination with the Human Resources Department and the Customer Experience Manager, manages personnel issues that include:

·         New hires

·         Dismissal

·         Training

·         Employee reviews

·         Work schedules

·         Flow of work within the department

b.    The Customer Relations Team Leader monitors and maintains the workflow in the department, ensuring all team members stay on task.  The Customer Relations Team Leader also coordinates work schedules; overseeing vacation requests, working on weekends, or any other PTO-related issue.

2)    Quality of Work

a.    The Customer Relations Team Leader reviews the quality of work and ensures the team completes it in a reasonable amount of time.  Other aspects include:

·         Check and review reports

·         Discuss quality issues with the team

·         Assist team with uncertain problems or situations that may arise

b.    The Customer Relations Team Leader, in ensuring the completion of workload in a timely manner, makes sure that orders are entered in a timely manner, calls are returned within a reasonable amount of time and ensures follow-up on leads.

3)    Credits

a.    The Customer Relations Team Leader shall double-check customer credits entered by Customer Relations to ensure error-free work.

b.    Only the Customer Relations Team Leader has the authority to release customer relations’ credits.

4)    Other Duties

a.    Order Entry

b.    Price quote

c.     Product availability

d.    Technical (answer basic questions)

e.    Making calls

f.      Other duties as assigned by the Customer Experience Manager.

 

Minimum requirements

Requires an associate’s degree and/or 5 years’ consummate experience. 

Abilities required

Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, efficient computer skills, and basic knowledge of KLINGSPOR’s products.
