With random orbit sanding now being the most popular way to accomplish many of your sanding goals, you’ll immediately appreciate the many features that this tool has to offer. We’ve incorporated the latest random orbit technology into this sander so you can achieve aggressive stock removal and swirl-free finishes at the same time. Even with the powerful motor, your hand positioning will remain comfortable with a soft ergonomic grip and smooth operation. A special new dust canister with an integrated paper filter has been included that offers extra filtering capacity - captures up to 120% more dust than other canisters and traps particles as small as 1/2 micron in size for a cleaner, safer work area. Among the other important features are an 8 foot rubber cord, a dust sealed on/off switch for longer life, integral pad dampening that prevents swirl marks, through-the-pad dust extraction, and an 8-hole hook and loop backing pad. With features like these, you won’t need to even consider another random orbit sander.

The single speed sander operates at 12,000 orbits per minute with its 2.0 amp motor. Our variable speed model runs from 7,000 to 12,000 orbits per minute on its 2.2 amp motor, giving you plenty of flexibility to perform more varied tasks.
