Product Details
The PS 11 Abrasive Disc is highly flexible, but also stable and tear resistant due to the latex weighted paper backing. It provides consistent performance and has excellent finishing properties. The closed coating of sharp silicon carbide grain provides the most aggressiveness and finest finishes. PS 11 abrasives with kling-on (hook & loop) or PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) are waterproof, making them suitable for wet and dry applications. They are great for sanding of furniture finishes, such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, oil, polishing of glass, and in automotive body shops for final color sanding of paint. The product utilizes Kling-on, KLINGSPOR’s version of hook & loop fasteners. The soft and fuzzy backing (loops) attaches strongly to the rough side (hooks) of a tool to prevent slippage. This type of backing is reusable, tear resistant, makes changes quick and easy, allows the abrasive product to run cooler, and more.
