Product Details
The PS 24 F Abrasive Roll is composed of silicon carbide grain, applied with closed coating, and resin bonded to a heavy F-weight paper backing. This closed coating allows the grain to cover the entire backing, providing the most aggressiveness and finest finishes, as well as ensuring a long service life and high stock removal rate. Silicon carbide is friable, allowing the abrasive to be continuously sharp and provide consistent results. PS 24 abrasives with F-weight paper backing have the additional property of being antistatic. It uses advanced coating technology (ACT) - a special form of coating to reduce loading and improve finish. PS 24 abrasives work well for non-ferrous metal applications, sanding between coats of paint, lacquer, varnish, etc. in woodworking applications. It is also suitable for finishing particle boards or MDF.
