The PS 77 GreenTec Abrasive Roll consists of aluminum oxide grain semi-open coated on light C-weight paper backing. The T-ACT coating (advanced coating technology) provides more grain exposure, reduced heat build-up and substantially less loading than traditional stearated abrasives. This allows longer life, cooler operating temperatures for sensitive coatings, and eliminates issues for between coats of finish. KLINGSPOR’s GreenTec abrasive products are specially designed to combat significant loading of the abrasive. GreenTec dramatically reduces heat and loading in even the most stubborn applications. Take advantage of this abrasive for a longer and more consistent cut, better and blemish-free finishes, and tighter scratch. GreenTec is most suitable for fiberglass, composites, wood & wood finishes, aluminum, and painted surface applications. A pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) is applied to the backing of the abrasive for easy application and removal to and from a backup pad. Also known as sticky back or peel-and-stick, the user can just peel off the seal and apply the abrasive with pressure onto the pad.
