Slashed rolls have a uniquely strip-like, slotted pattern, which ensures that the abrasive contours perfectly to the contact surface - even if it possesses a complex structure, making the product excellent for moulded parts made of metal and wood. This LS 309 abrasive is covered in aluminum oxide grain, is fully resin bonded, and has J-weight Egyptian cotton cloth backing for polishing ferrous or non-ferrous metals and hardwoods where belt conformability to the work piece is required.
