The flat version of a TITAN SMT 624 flap disc allows a wider grinding profile on larger flat surfaces, making quick time on surface work. It is made with our durable alumina zirconia grains, which means this flap disc is well suited for highly aggressive applications on high-powered grinders. The largest advantage of TITAN flap discs is the longevity compared to the standard SMT. The unique design of the trimmable disc allows the user to utilize the entirety of the flaps, giving much longer life. The hard-to-reach middle section of the flaps often go unused, and with trimmable backing, the user can simply trim the edge back and easily access the untouched new abrasive. Longer use means less disc changes and more production time. TITAN flap discs are also quick and easy to change. Each disc includes a built-in 5/8"-11 threaded arbor for quick and easy mounting. No tools needed! They are even able to run cooler, due to their unique fan shape, which gives the discs more life. The firm plastic backing plate allows for more aggression when needed.
