The TITAN SMT 924 flap disc has ceramic aluminum oxide grain to produce a high level of aggression for faster cutting and high removal rates. As KLINGSPOR's most aggressive TITAN SMT, it is excellent for weld seam grinding, edge grinding and beveling, and is a universal tool for metals and steels. The TITAN SMT 924 flap disc is best suited for use on high-powered grinders. The largest advantage of TITAN flap discs is the longevity compared to the standard SMT. The unique design of the trimmable disc allows the user to utilize the entirety of the flaps, giving much longer life. The hard-to-reach middle section of the flaps often go unused, and with trimmable backing, the user can simply trim the edge back and easily access the untouched new abrasive. Longer use means less disc changes and more production time. TITAN flap discs are also quick and easy to change. Each disc includes a built-in 5/8"-11 threaded arbor for quick and easy mounting. No tools needed! They are even able to run cooler, due to their unique fan shape, which gives the discs more life. The firm plastic backing plate allows for more aggression when needed.
