The CS 922 Abrasive Disc is a ceramic aluminum oxide abrasive resin-bonded on our heaviest Y-weight polyester backing. It uses advanced coating technology (ACT) - a special form of coating to reduce loading and improve finish. And with a closed coat, the service life and stock removal rate becomes greater. CS 922 is excellent for steels of all types and under high grinding pressure applications. A pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) is applied to the backing of the abrasive for easy application and removal to and from a backup pad. Also known as sticky back or peel-and-stick, the user can just peel off the seal and apply the abrasive with pressure onto the pad.
