Product Details
The NWSB Non-Woven Scrim Back Disc offers a high initial cut rate- great for heavy duty and aggressive applications. The thick, durable layer of scrim and closed resin coating makes the NWSB non-woven more rigid and aggressive. Although this leads to less conformability, it gives more cut. This material is ideal for general purpose blending and deburring. Non-woven abrasives consist of random nylon fibers bonded together into an open web, and impregnated with resin and abrasive grit. Advantages of non-woven abrasives include a consistent finish, long service life, cool cutting, and soft, yet fast working action. They are waterproof; can be used wet or dry, and easily rinsed out. Coolants, lubricants, and cleaning agents can also be used with a non-woven. With its ability to reduce loading, non-woven abrasives are excellent for paint or coating removal.
