Description

PSA Disc Roll: 5", PS35 Stearated S/C, 120 Grit, B-Wt Paper, No Liner, 100/Roll

Product Details

The PS 35 Abrasive Disc offers high performance thanks to the open coating of silicon carbide grain with zinc stearate dry lubricant and resin bonded to B-weight paper backing. It has great flexibility, satisfactory edge stability, and tear resistance thanks to latex impregnated into the paper. The addition of stearate also reduces loading and provides a longer service life. PS 35 abrasives are suitable for sanding contoured surfaces or flat surfaces by hand, with sanding blocks, or on vibrating sanders. Ideal for sanding primer, paint, bare metal, and rust. Or, in woodworking, PS 35 is excellent for sanding sealer, wash coats, bare softwoods and hardwoods, and between coats of furniture finishes. A pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) is applied to the backing of the abrasive for easy application and removal to and from a backup pad. Also known as sticky back or peel-and-stick, the user can just peel off the seal and apply the abrasive with pressure onto the pad.
