The QSC quick change disc, also known as the Quick Type-S Connect disc, is unique for its form of attachment. A mandrel can attach to the fastener in a quarter or half turn-on/turn-off motion to lock it in. Alumina zirconia is a durable, aggressive grain for steel and stainless steel applications. For stainless steel applications, lubricated alumina zirconia is recommended to aid in cooling and avoid clogging. Quick Change Discs are disposable discs with various backing and attachment methods. They offer instant disc changes and assure smooth running. Shifting on the machine is not a concern for these discs, always remaining centered. Quick change discs are even resistant to grinding heat and have a long service life. These products work well on flat surfaces, contoured surfaces, and in tight areas.
