The SM 611 Abrasive Flapwheel consists of hundreds of resin bonded cloth aluminum oxide abrasive sheets firmly attached to a balanced core. This flapwheel has the advantage of creating smooth, even finishes and has the ability to adapt perfectly to the contours of the workpiece. SM 611 abrasive flapwheels quickly take the contours of the workpiece being ground or polished, making them ideal for convex and concave surfaces, profiles, or internal surfaces. It is also frequently used for weld blending and fine grinding. Controlled speed machinery users can easily adjust the speed to the diameter of the flapwheel. Suitable for all metals, plastic, and wood. Applied with closed coating, the aluminum oxide grain of the CS 308 provides a long service life and high stock removal.
