Solid Carbide Spiral Bit with 3 up and down cut flutes, which create a 3+3 compression cut that prevents fraying and splintering. Applicable on natural woods, composites, hard plastics, and thin aluminum. The "M" in the item number denotes that the bit has a mortise cut, which provides a 1/4" upcut before the downcut begins. This allows the cutter to create a shallower groove/dado cut for denser or easily chipped material.
