Product Details
The PS 24 F Wide Belt is composed of silicon carbide grain, applied with closed coating, and resin bonded to a heavy F-weight paper backing. This closed coating allows the grain to cover the entire backing, providing the most aggressiveness and finest finishes, as well as ensuring a long service life and high stock removal rate. Silicon carbide is friable, allowing the abrasive to be continuously sharp and provide consistent results. PS 24 abrasives with F-weight paper backing have the additional property of being antistatic. To minimize loading and clogging, the belt utilizes advanced coating technology (ACT) to dissipate the electric charge via the abrasive belt and the machine. These properties allow the operator to work swiftly without interruption. PS 24 abrasives work well for non-ferrous metal applications, sanding between coats of paint, lacquer, varnish, etc. in woodworking applications. It is also suitable for finishing particle boards or MDF.
