This PS 29 abrasive is applied with an open coating of aluminum oxide and resin bonded to heavy F-weight paper backing. It uses advanced coating technology (ACT) - a special form of coating to reduce loading and improve finish. PS 29 abrasives work well in any application where loading is a problem, especially softwoods or a mix of hard and soft wood.
