Slashed rolls have a uniquely strip-like, slotted pattern, which ensures that the abrasive contours perfectly to the contact surface - even if it possesses a complex structure, making the product excellent for moulded parts made of metal and wood. LS 309 JF abrasives are highly flexible and contour perfectly to highly profiled workpieces. This is made possible with the J-flex Egyptian cotton cloth backing, our lightest and most flexible form of backing. Applied with closed coating, the aluminum oxide grain provides a long service life and high stock removal. The abrasive is well-suited for polishing ferrous or non-ferrous metals and hardwoods.
