Job summary:

  • Receives (by email) requests for item additions, correction of an item’s bill of materials, questions concerning item pricing, item pricing adjustments, and configurator troubleshooting.
  • Receives (by telephone and email) requests for quotations, orders, and lead times from customers. Coordinates with other departments in handling purchase orders and providing service to customers.  

Summary of essential job functions:

  • Receives requests by email through new items for item additions, correction of an items bill of materials, and questions concerning item pricing adjustments. Requests come from sales representatives, customer relations and inside sales, product specialists, and the Mexico branch.
  • Performs regular maintenance of manufactured products by reviewing bill information, item and description structure, and obsoleting products if they are no longer in use or have been discontinued.
  • Receives telephone and email requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers. Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service.
  • Uses Odoo to retrieve customer information, stock status information, the status of purchase orders, and to make changes on customer purchase orders.
  • Follows up on inquiries by checking the system for delivery information. Works closely with expeditor in production control regarding deliveries of scheduled shipments.
  • Works with accounting to keep distributor accounts up to date on payments. Contacts the customer if needed to get payment information when they are past due. Provides copies of invoices, packing lists, and proof of deliveries if requested by the customer. Sends monthly statements via excel to the distributor.
  • Helps handle the Finish Line by Klingspor with the same duties as noted above for the Klingspor Distributor accounts.


Minimum requirements:

  • Requires an Associates degree and/or 2 to 5 years consummate experience

Abilities Required:

  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, efficient computer skills, and basic knowledge of KLINGSPOR’s products

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday 
  • Full-Time (8am-5pm)
