KLINGSPOR Abrasives is currently seeking a Sales Operation Analyst.

Job Summary

The Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in enabling the sales team to operate efficiently and effectively. This position supports revenue growth by managing administrative tasks, coordinating customer communications, preparing sales documentation, and ensuring smooth operations of the sales process. This role helps sales representatives focus on closing deals by handling internal coordination, order processing, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team
  • Prepare, process, and track sales orders, quotes, and contracts
  • Maintain and update customer and sales data in CRM and ERP systems
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate product/service information
  • Coordinate with internal teams including marketing, finance, and logistics
  • Track and report on sales data, KPIs, and pipeline activity
  • Schedule meetings, calls, and client presentations
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and reports
  • Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Support planning and execution of sales events, trade shows, and client meetings

 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong follow-through
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience supporting a B2B sales team
  • MBA or advanced degree (optional)

Compensation

  • Compensation for this role is flexible and will be determined based on agreed-upon hours and schedule. Final salary details will be discussed with the hiring manager during the interview process.
