Round Nose bits make round bottomed grooves without leaving square corners. They are very popular for precise sign-making, creating a trough around cutting boards, or adding exquisite engraved details to cabinet doors and drawer fronts for a polished, professional finish on your woodworking projects. A carbide tip offers an excellent balance of quality and cost, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. Works effectively on natural woods, composite woods, hard plastics, and thin aluminum for versatile, high-performance cutting and shaping. Designed for hand-held routers and router tables in a wide variety of applications. They may be commonly known as a “Core Box Bit" as well. Carbide-tipped, round nose bit with 1/2" cutting diameter, 5/8" cutting length, 1/4" shank, 1/4" radius, 2-1/4" overall length, and B9 bearing for use with 1/4" collets.
