The addition of a shank mounted bearing extends the use of our round nose bits in lettering, veining, or decorative cuts when following a template. Round Nose bits make round bottomed grooves without leaving square corners. They are very popular for fluting of moldings, creating a trough around cutting boards, or adding exquisite engraved details to cabinet doors and drawer fronts for a polished, professional finish on your woodworking projects. A carbide tip offers an excellent balance of quality and cost, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. Works effectively on natural woods, composite woods, hard plastics, and thin aluminum for versatile, high-performance cutting and shaping. Designed for hand-held routers, router tables, and CNC machines in a wide variety of applications. They may be commonly known as a “Core Box Bit" as well. Carbide-tipped, round nose bit with 3/4" cutting diameter, 7/16" cutting length, 1/4" shank, 3/8" radius, 2" overall length, and B4 bearing for use with 1/4" collets.
