Half Round bits are used to create complete rounded edge. They cut a full 180 degree half-moon design along the edge of the workpiece. For a less prominent cut, try the Oval Edge bits. A carbide tip offers an excellent balance of quality and cost, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. Well-suited for composite materials, plywood, hardwoods, and softwoods, providing clean and precise cuts across a variety of surfaces. Perfect for creating half-round edges on furniture, moldings, stair treads, and window trim, delivering clean, professional results every time. Also known as a “Bull Nose Bit", they are typically used in a router table or with an edge guide. A fence is required for work on a router table, and an edge guide is necessary for applications with a hand router. Carbide-tipped, half round bit with 7/8" large diameter, 9/16" cutting length, 1/4" shank, 1/4" opening of cutter, and 1/8" radius for use with 1/4" collets.
