Product Details
The CS 310 X Abrasive Disc is composed of aluminum oxide grain, tear-resistant X-weight cotton cloth backing, with resin bond and closed coat. CS 310 X material is suitable for all ferrous metals, hardwoods, leather, aluminum, stainless steel, and most alloys. Closed coating is recommended for abrasives that are used for work on metal as it ensures a long service life and a high stock removal rate. A pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) is applied to the backing of the abrasive for easy application and removal to and from a backup pad. Also known as sticky back or peel-and-stick, the user can just peel off the seal and apply the abrasive with pressure onto the pad.
