The CS 311 Y Abrasive Belt is characterized by its superior tear resistance, exceptional stock removal rate, and long service life. Polyester backing is more robust than paper, resisting tears when subjected to rough applications. It also features antistatic properties that keep dust from adhering to the belt. To minimize loading and clogging, the CS 311 Y utilizes antistatic coating technology (ACT) to dissipate the electric charge via the abrasive belt and the machine. These properties allow the operator to work swiftly without interruption. It even resists humidity and moisture during daily usage. CS 311 is recommended for sanding of softwoods or a mix of hard & softwoods.
