These shop rolls include premium aluminum oxide grain resin bonded and closed coated on a heavy, yet flexible cotton cloth backing. J-flex backing allows the user to contour curved surfaces and profiles with ease. The extra sturdiness ensures it will even stand up to strenuous workloads, such as profile sanding or heavy sanding applications. Nonetheless, it is lighter than polyester, and can be torn off at the required size in a clean and effortless manner. Closed coating is recommended for abrasives used for metalworking to ensure a long service life and a high stock removal rate. KL 361 is a general purpose abrasive material that can be used on all metals and woods.
