The TITAN SMT 975 flap disc is one of KLINGSPOR’s CEVOLUTION products covered in newly developed ceramic grain. It offers a high level of aggression for faster cutting and high removal rates. The flap disc’s premium design allows it to hold up to demanding weld seam grinding, edge grinding and beveling without breaking down or shredding. It has universal use on metals and steels. The SMT 975 flap disc is best suited for use on high-powered grinders. The largest advantage of TITAN flap discs is the longevity compared to the standard SMT. The unique design of the trimmable disc allows the user to utilize the entirety of the flaps, giving much longer life. The hard-to-reach middle section of the flaps often go unused, and with trimmable backing, the user can simply trim the edge back and easily access the untouched new abrasive. Longer use means less disc changes and more production time. TITAN flap discs are also quick and easy to change. Each disc includes a built-in 5/8"-11 threaded arbor for quick and easy mounting. No tools needed! They are even able to run cooler, due to their unique fan shape, which gives the discs more life. The firm plastic backing plate allows for more aggression when needed.
