Product Details
The CS 409 Y Wide Belt is distinguishable by its aggressive performance. It is closed coated with alumina zirconia grain, which is hard, self-sharpening, and incredibly tough. The Y-weight polyester backing is both heavy and tear resistant. In addition, the CS 409 is coated with multibond lubricant to reduce clogging, prevent discoloration, and ensure cool grinding. With these properties, the CS 409 wide belt has a high removal rate and greater service life. It is most suited for grinding high alloys, such as titanium and stainless steel, where heat build-up is a problem.
