The CS 409 Abrasive Disc is the perfect tool for sanding at high speeds and high stock removal rates. The tear-resistant polyester backing maintains a safe workplace through its remarkable stability. Alumina zirconia grain with multibond lubricant allows for cool grinding, prevents discoloration and clogging, and protects the project from corrosion when sanding at high speed. Closed coating is recommended for abrasives used for metalworking as it ensures a long service life and a high stock removal rate. A pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) is applied to the backing of the abrasive for easy application and removal to and from a backup pad. Also known as sticky back or peel-and-stick, the user can just peel off the seal and apply the abrasive with pressure onto the pad.
