Cross pads are fantastic for deburring and polishing the interior walls of pipes and tubes. This is because the versatile cross-shaped design of a cross pad is specialized for channels and holes so the tool fills around the workpiece. CS 411 X abrasives have sharp alumina zirconia grain resin-bonded to X-weight cloth backings for high pressure, heavy stock removal on all types of metal, especially carbon and tool steels. Closed coating is recommended for abrasives for metalworking as it ensures a long service life and a high stock removal rate.
