A sisal/bramante polishing wheel is composed of a combination of treated twine best-suited for both cutting and coloring applications, providing a moderate finish. With abrading and grease absorbing characteristics, sisal polishing wheels are perfect for aggressive cutting applications. Meanwhile, bramante is specialized for coloring a workpiece. The spiral-sewn pattern keeps the wheel firm, which makes it excellent for cutting and polishing. All polishing wheels must be used with a polishing compound. Try KLINGSPOR's KPC2U compound with a sisal/bramante polishing wheel for heavy cuts on stainless steel, carbon steel, and hard aluminum, for the pre-polish process. It will remove some light scratches from previous sanding.
