Quick metal connect discs, or QMC, are quick change discs with metal locking and are fixed on the holder pad with an internal thread. Must be used with KLINGSPOR holder pads. Non-woven buff & blend (NWBB) offers a soft scratch pattern for surface conditioning and satin finishes. Non-woven abrasives consist of random nylon fibers bonded together into an open web, and impregnated with resin and abrasive grit. Advantages of non-woven abrasives include a consistent finish, long service life, cool cutting, and soft, yet fast working action. They are waterproof; can be used wet or dry, and easily rinsed out. Coolants, lubricants, and cleaning agents can also be used with a non-woven. Quick Change Discs are disposable discs with various backing and attachment methods. They offer instant disc changes and assure smooth running. Shifting on the machine is not a concern for these discs, always remaining centered. Quick change discs are even resistant to grinding heat and have a long service life. These products work well on flat surfaces, contoured surfaces, and in tight areas.
