When using a sanding disc on a machine, you always need a backing pad. A backing pad ensures stability, optimum distribution of pressure, and safety when working. Our PSA backing pads feature a vinyl face that allows the adhesive of PSA discs to attach firmly while allowing easy peel-off removal. This backing pad replaces OEM (original equipment manufacturer) backing pads for orbital sanders that require a 5/16-24 threaded rod. Standard hook size.
