The CS 412 YX Abrasive Belt is a universal product that suits a wide range of metal applications. It is also suitable for sanding hardwoods. The CS 412 YX is both tear-resistant and waterproof thanks to the stiff YX-weight polyester backing. Aluminum oxide, a grain known for its excellent hardness and toughness, is closed coated with synthetic resin. These special properties ensure a high removal rate, long service life, and aggressive performance. The belt is recommended for rough sanding, intermediate sanding, and finish sanding with either pedestal sanders, surface grinding machines, or centerless sanding machines.
